Candlemass to perform “Nightfall” in full

Candlemass brings classic doom to Grieghallen.

It’s very rare that we invite a band back to the festival two years in a row. But when the opportunity surfaced to have Candlemass performing the seminal classic, “Nightfall”, from start to finish in the iconic concert hall, Grieghallen - it just made too much sense conceptually and musically to not embrace the chance with both hands. 

Yes, you will get thunderous doom and looming evil when Candlemass join legendary Mercyful Fate for a full blown black heavy metal extravaganza on August 21st. Backed by rising stars, Tribulation and Idle Hand’s this will be one epic night to remember.

The “Nightfall” set will be one of very few occasions to experience this highly influential album in full this year.
