Year of the Goat

Being around since 2006, Year of the Goat could easily be seen as one of the earlier bands in the new wave of occult rock, obviously spearheaded by Ghost in the latter years. However, Year of the Goat, also from Sweden, has always had more of a melodramatic and musician wise sense of finesse than many of their peers. The fantastic debut “Angels' Necropolis” crushed most album lists amongst the doom interested fan base in 2012, but the two following albums, and maybe especially last years “Novis Orbis Terrarum Ordinis” manifested their position as one of the very best within the genre, and we're damned proud to invite our melancholic Swedish brothers back to Bergen and Beyond the Gates.
