Saturday at Grieghallen

One of metals most revered acts, Mercyful Fate, will headline Beyond the Gates 2022. The highly influential band helmed by legendary singer King Diamond, will perform a string of festival dates next summer, including their first ever show in Norway. The venue for this very special occasion will be the iconic Grieghallen, famous in metal communities for housing the studio where Emperor, Mayhem, Enslaved and Immortal recorded many of their classic albums. It’s also one of Norway’s premier concert venues. Needless to say, this will be one for the books.

Mercyful Fate will perform a set comprised of classics from the very first “mini LP”, “Melissa” and “Don’t Break The Oath”, plus some brand new songs written specifically in that very same style.
