The man, the myth, the legend - few musicians has had such a huge impact on the extreme metal scene in Norway as the riff maestro and bonafide frontman, Abbath. Helming legendary Immortal for decades, the prolific artist has unleashed black metal classics, played the biggest festivals on the continent and toured all over the globe both as a solo artist and as a part of the legendary trio. Abbath’s show at Beyond the Gates this year will be a unique set consisting of new material, along with classic material he hasn’t performed in decades or ever. Abbath promise to bring out all the stops in what will be a spectacular concert both visually and sonically. There really is no show man like Abbath in modern extreme metal.
